LLong weekend – time for two races!
Cross Country race in the Czech Republic went very well. The track was quite demanding but also held a lot of fun. Out of the secoundlast start row I raced up to 14th position in the end. Regarding the race category and the fact I was able to handle the 80%-rule I’m quite satisfied and confident. A special thank goes to my girlfriend Sara, who did not have a calm day in the mountains managing two tech/feed zones.
MTB Marathon Dresden – the perfect opportunity to race two days in a row for seeing how it works out for me. After a quick start I found myself in the 5-headed top group, two times I fell back with a secound rider but we were able to close the gap again. I finally had to let them go due to muscular problems. In the end sprint for P4 I could win, so it’s
P4 overall | P3 age group category | P1 saxon university championship.
In 13 days I will continue with the last race of the Czech race series – for me also the last race befor exams are around the corner.
